Enterprise College Territory reaches 155 countries in 38 distinct time zones

• Combined Total (as of March 2026): Approximately 155 countries across these three categories. The third category is subjective, since “U.S. friendly” is not a formal legal designation.

• NATO Members: 32 formal treaty allies.

• Major Non-NATO Allies (MNNA): 21 formally designated countries, plus Taiwan, which is treated as an MNNA for practical purposes, for a total of 22.

• U.S.-Friendly / Partner Countries: Approximately 101 additional nations. While the U.S. State Department maintains bilateral relations with nearly every country, one broader estimate identifies 102 countries that fall into categories such as NATO members, MNNAs, or members of the Partnership for Peace. Subtracting the 54 unique formal allies (32 NATO + 22 MNNA) from the broader group of roughly 155 countries with active security or friendly diplomatic ties leaves about 101 in the friendly/partner category.
